The best day to start a course, by your natal chart

Astrology can help you identify a lucky day to start a course, but only if it’s precise and personal—and that’s what Kalendom does best.

Explore the timing to start a course

Kalendom can use your natal chart to find those days in the months ahead.

Date of birth
24h

Optional—without it we can’t place your rising sign and the parts of your chart, so the scores are a little less precise.

Type your birth city, then pick it from the list.

Your birth data is only used to build your chart—never shared.

Past dates and today are free forever, and your next 30 days unlock with your chart. Further ahead is a one-time unlock, no subscription.

An almanac says: “These are the auspicious days to begin study this season.”

That’s nonsense. A date handed to every student at once is not timing—the days your own chart supports taking something new in come from how the planets line up with it.

Your best days to begin studying, scored from your own birth chart—with the exact transits behind every score.

What our astrology engine watches for this

Beginning a course is about taking something new in and the drive to see it through. Our astrology engine watches the Sun, Mercury, Mars and Saturn and the parts of your chart for daily work and career, where a course is scored. A supportive contact raises the day’s score; a tense Saturn lowers it—a day better spent on the reading list.

The planets that matter

  • Sun
  • Saturn
  • Mercury
  • Mars

The parts of your chart that matter

  • daily work & routine· 6th house
  • career & public standing· 10th house
Sun → work

Example: a strong day might come from Jupiter supporting your natal Mercury, the tradition’s planet of speech and deals. Our astrology engine names a reason like that for every day it scores.

Best day to start a course—FAQ

Is starting a course different from sitting an exam?
Yes. Beginning is a day for taking material in; an exam is the day you have to give it back. Each has its own page and its own transits.
How is this different from a generic horoscope?
A horoscope reads your sun sign alone; this scores your whole natal chart, every planet and every part of it, so two people enrolling the same week get different days.
Can I check the day I started something I finished?
Yes—backtesting past dates is free. Scoring the start of a course you actually completed is the honest way to test the timing.

The method

We read four hundred years of transit theory and programmed it into the Kalendom astrology engine.

Of everything astrology contains, one tradition exists to answer a single question: when. The Kalendom engine encodes that tradition whole—four centuries of transit doctrine, rule by rule, source by source—and turns it into something anyone can read: a 0–100 score for love, money, work and energy, every single day.

  • 1,460

    scores in your year ahead

365 days × love, money, work, energy

  • 10 × 5 × 12

    planets, aspects, houses

every combination pre-graded by the rulebook, nothing improvised

  • ~400 years

of transit doctrine behind our algorithm

from William Lilly’s tables to the modern transit literature—cited line by line

Don’t take our word for it—run it on a day you already lived.
