The best day to get a tattoo, by your natal chart

Astrology can help you identify a lucky day to get a tattoo, but only if it’s precise and personal—and that’s what Kalendom does best.

Explore the timing to get a tattoo

Kalendom can use your natal chart to find those days in the months ahead.

Date of birth
24h

Optional—without it we can’t place your rising sign and the parts of your chart, so the scores are a little less precise.

Type your birth city, then pick it from the list.

Your birth data is only used to build your chart—never shared.

Past dates and today are free forever, and your next 30 days unlock with your chart. Further ahead is a one-time unlock, no subscription.

An almanac says: “Never get tattooed while the Moon is in the sign that rules that part of the body.”

That’s folklore, not precision. The Moon really does change sign every two days—but it does that for everyone at once, and your day comes from how the planets line up with your own birth chart.

Your best days to book a tattoo, scored from your own birth chart—with the exact transits behind every score.

What our astrology engine watches for this

A tattoo is the needle as much as the look. Our astrology engine watches Mars, Venus and the Moon and the part of your chart for your body and how you present it, along with your natal Venus. A supportive contact raises the day’s score; a tense Mars lowers it—a day to book ahead rather than walk in.

The planets that matter

  • Sun
  • Moon
  • Mars
  • Saturn

The parts of your chart that matter

  • vitality & the physical self· 1st house
  • routines, rest & wellbeing· 6th house
Sun → health & energy

Example: a strong day might come from Venus supporting your natal Mars, the tradition’s planet of drive. Our astrology engine names a reason like that for every day it scores.

Best day to get a tattoo—FAQ

Can astrology pick a day for a tattoo?
It shows where your own timing leans, and nothing else. This page scores the transits to your chart on the day—it says nothing about skin, healing or how the session will go, which is not a claim any chart can make.
How is this different from a lunar body calendar?
A lunar body calendar gives one rule to everybody, from the Moon’s sign alone. This reads Mars, Venus and the Moon against your own natal placements, so two people booking the same week get different days.
Can I score a tattoo I already have?
Yes—backtesting past dates is free. Scoring the day you sat for one you love is the honest way to see whether the timing reads true for you.

The method

We read four hundred years of transit theory and programmed it into the Kalendom astrology engine.

Of everything astrology contains, one tradition exists to answer a single question: when. The Kalendom engine encodes that tradition whole—four centuries of transit doctrine, rule by rule, source by source—and turns it into something anyone can read: a 0–100 score for love, money, work and energy, every single day.

  • 1,460

    scores in your year ahead

365 days × love, money, work, energy

  • 10 × 5 × 12

    planets, aspects, houses

every combination pre-graded by the rulebook, nothing improvised

  • ~400 years

of transit doctrine behind our algorithm

from William Lilly’s tables to the modern transit literature—cited line by line

Don’t take our word for it—run it on a day you already lived.
