The best day to quit your job in October 2026, by your natal chart

Astrology can help you identify a lucky day to quit your job, but only if it’s precise and personal—and that’s what Kalendom does best.

Explore the timing to quit your job

Kalendom can use your natal chart to find those days in the months ahead.

Date of birth
24h

Optional—without it we can’t place your rising sign and the parts of your chart, so the scores are a little less precise.

Type your birth city, then pick it from the list.

Your birth data is only used to build your chart—never shared.

Past dates and today are free forever, and your next 30 days unlock with your chart. Further ahead is a one-time unlock, no subscription.

An almanac says: “Resign on a waning Moon to release what no longer serves you.”

That’s folklore, not precision. The Moon wanes for everyone on the same schedule—the day your own chart supports the conversation comes from how the planets line up with it.

Your best days to hand in your notice, scored from your own birth chart—with the exact transits behind every score.

What our astrology engine watches for this

Resigning is a career move made in a conversation. Our astrology engine watches Saturn, Mars and the Sun and the parts of your chart for career and daily work, with Mercury for the notice itself. A supportive contact raises the day’s score; a tense Mars lowers it—a day to write it down rather than say it out loud.

The planets that matter

  • Saturn
  • Mercury
  • Mars
  • Venus
  • Jupiter

The parts of your chart that matter

  • income & self-worth· 2nd house
  • daily work & routine· 6th house
  • shared & invested resources· 8th house
  • career & public standing· 10th house
  • gains & networks· 11th house
Sun → work

Example: a strong day might come from the Sun supporting your natal Saturn, the tradition’s planet of structure. Our astrology engine names a reason like that for every day it scores.

Reflective insight from your chart, not financial advice—the decision is always yours.

Best day to quit your job—FAQ

Can astrology tell me when to quit?
No—that decision is yours and it depends on things no chart can see. What this scores is which days your own timing supports a difficult conversation, once you have already decided.
How is this different from a horoscope?
It reads your full natal chart rather than your sun sign, so the days it points to come from your exact birth date, time and place rather than from a twelfth of everyone.
Can I check a past resignation for free?
Yes. Backtesting any past date costs nothing, so you can score the day you last resigned and see whether the reading matches how it went.

The method

We read four hundred years of transit theory and programmed it into the Kalendom astrology engine.

Of everything astrology contains, one tradition exists to answer a single question: when. The Kalendom engine encodes that tradition whole—four centuries of transit doctrine, rule by rule, source by source—and turns it into something anyone can read: a 0–100 score for love, money, work and energy, every single day.

  • 1,460

    scores in your year ahead

365 days × love, money, work, energy

  • 10 × 5 × 12

    planets, aspects, houses

every combination pre-graded by the rulebook, nothing improvised

  • ~400 years

of transit doctrine behind our algorithm

from William Lilly’s tables to the modern transit literature—cited line by line

Don’t take our word for it—run it on a day you already lived.
